Building Parent/Caregiver Skills and Resiliency

SPIRITT utilizes a short term, comprehensive and family-centered service delivery methodology, rooted in cultural and linguistic competence that directly aligned with the Protective Factors, the Integrated Core Practice Model, and the Standards of Quality for Family Strengthening and Support Model.

Services are geared for pregnant to children age 5  families with short-term, in-home family-based program designed to

  • Diminish factors known to be associated with child abuse and neglect
  • Facilitate the preservation of families at risk of child abuse and neglect
  • Develop and strengthen the community safety net
  • Develop and strengthen parental protective factors

 

These programs and activities are funded by Los Angeles County Department of Children and Family Services include:
